Fun For You Rent Inc suggests that you bring a camera, driver’s license, snowsuits, snow boots, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, beverages, backpack, a lunch if you’re going to be out all day, and a credit card.
No, unfortunately we do not rent out snowsuits but we recommend that our customers base their clothing on the weather and to always being a sweater whether it be summer or winter.
Fun For You Rentals provides you with a truck, trailer, gas for the vehicles, and helmets. Bring your own goggles/sunglasses, sometimes we have some available for purchase at the shop. We also provide a GPS location of the trailhead and a map (if available)
We recommend our customers to come in about 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and proceed with payment for the rental. We have two sessions: 8 am-12:30 pm, and 1pm-5:30 pm. So please arrive at 7:45 am for the 8:00am session and 12:45 for the 1:00 pm session.
If you have a hitch and tow package you can tow trailers with your vehicles. If you don’t have a truck or tow package we will provide a vehicle to tow trailers at no extra charge. We can also provide the hitch if needed at no additional cost.
We require you have full insurance coverage on your vehicle policy with rental option. We will treat it as a rental vehicle. It’s no additional cost to use our vehicles to tow machines.
Yes. We provide maps to get you from the office to your trailhead; we provide maps of your chosen snowmobile tour.
There are a variety of public trails in the Breckenridge and Vail areas. Please call for specific details. Some trails require a US Forest Service charge of $6 per person over 16 years of age. Please have cash on hand for these charges. The US Forest Service only accepts cash; this is payable at the trailhead.
If you get stuck and need to be extracted, we provide numbers for you to call for help. Please be aware that charges apply if we have to come pull you out. Be safe! Don’t do the adventure alone, always ride with a buddy.
You will have limited coverage. Be aware of locations on the trail where you have coverage by checking your phone from time to time.
No. But there are lots of trees. We recommend using the restroom at the office before departing. (You might want to bring some TP and/or wet wipes. Please bring a zip-lock bag to so you can bring the paper products back out with you.)
Yes, there are speed limits. You will be ridingon public lands. These trails are patrolled by local law enforcement. Speed limits are 30 MPH. If you are ticketed for speeding, you can expect to pay $500 to $1,000 in penalties. Penalties must be paid in person in Grand Junction Colorado. Speeding is the number one reason for accidents. Slow down, be safe – enjoy your ride!
Yes we do! We charge an overnight fee of $50 per night, and per vehicle. Call us for more details!
When you arrive in our office in Frisco, we will charge a $500 deposit for each vehicle being rented out. This deposit is refunded when the vehicles are brought back and no damage seems to have been done. The deposits for high performance vehicles will be higher, make sure to give us a call so we will be able to let you know the price for them.
